How our calculators work
Each tool implements a stated mathematical formula in JavaScript. Calculations run on your device. Inputs are checked for missing values, supported ranges, and invalid operations before a result is displayed.
Precision
We use standard JavaScript double-precision arithmetic. Display formatting may round results; money commonly displays to two decimal places. Do not treat displayed digits as a guarantee of measurement accuracy. Very large values may lose precision.
Verification
The release includes automated reference cases for every calculator, plus checks for common invalid inputs, zero-interest loans, and calendar boundaries. Automated checks do not establish suitability for every real-world use.
Interpretation
Financial tools model the assumptions you enter. They do not retrieve live rates. The adult BMI tool is an educational screening calculation, not a medical diagnosis. Construction and electrical estimates do not replace professional specifications.
