Privacy at MyCalCute

This page explains the data used to run MyCalCute, the choices available to you, and what changes if you create an account or use a contact form.

Calculations and optional saved data

Most calculator inputs and results are processed in your browser. They are sent to the server only when you explicitly save a scenario or budget in your account or use another server feature. A saved item can contain its name, inputs, results and notes. Shareable links may contain inputs in the URL fragment; anyone with the full link can read them. Do not use sensitive data in shared links.

Accounts and messages

An account stores your name, email address, password hash or linked sign-in identity, and the favorites, goals, budgets and scenarios you choose to save. Signed-in sessions use a secure, HttpOnly cookie. Contact messages store the name, reply email, subject, message, time and delivery status so the site team can respond and investigate. Do not include passwords or sensitive financial information in a message. If you submit an app review, we store your chosen rating, display name and review text with your account. It remains unpublished until moderation; an approved review and its display name appear publicly. You can contact us to request removal.

Device storage and service logs

Your device may store theme, favorites and recent calculator identifiers. Clearing browser storage removes these local preferences, not account records. The service counts events such as calculator views, completed calculations and searches for aggregate reporting. These reports do not include calculator inputs or account identifiers. Hosting may keep technical logs, including IP address, requested page and time, for security and operations. Search reporting stores the submitted query terms in the selected language, aggregate counts, result counts and selected calculators. We exclude email addresses, URLs and phone-length numbers from those query records. Earlier reports may contain redacted placeholders or incomplete typed terms. For metal calculators, a country code supplied from IP geolocation by the hosting proxy can choose an initial currency. The site does not store this country code in a profile; your chosen currency may remain in browser storage.

Advertising and third parties

The site may display advertising, including Google ads, when the operator enables its code. Google and other advertising vendors may place or read cookies, use web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers to serve and measure ads. Their handling of data is governed by their own policies. Read how Google uses data on partner sites at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and manage Google ad personalization at https://myadcenter.google.com/. External reference links also lead to sites with separate policies.

Your choices

You can use public calculators without an account. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable MyCalCute product events where detected; they do not necessarily stop hosting logs or third-party scripts. Use Profile & settings to export account data or request account deletion when available. You can clear local preferences in the browser. Contact us with a privacy question or data request and identify the email associated with your account.

Security, retention and changes

We use access controls and password hashing, but no website can promise perfect security. Account records persist until you delete the account or the service removes them under its operational policies; technical logs and contact records may be retained for legitimate operational needs. Material changes to this notice will be posted here. Review it before sharing sensitive information.

Landing-page analytics store only the public path, language, source type and referring domain. An anonymous tab-session token renews after 30 minutes without activity or at UTC midnight; server hashes expire after 90 days. Page activity is grouped under the entry page without storing URL parameters, calculator inputs or account identifiers.
